At 91, Barrie man stays active every day at East Bayfield Community Centre

Fitness has been a lifelong pursuit for Prusinowski. In his youth, he played Junior B hockey, and he also water-skied barefoot with his wife, Christine, driving the boat. Golf and curling were part of his past as well, though all of those sports eventually fell to the sidelines once he picked up a tennis racket.
Part of the attraction for him is the social element. Later in life, he found what he felt was the perfect blend of being active and interacting with others. "When I was 50 years old, I took my first tennis lesson and I got hooked," he explains.
