Ninth annual Fiesta Mexicana raises $25,600 for Culver City Arts Foundation

Hundreds of community members turned out during a heat wave for the ninth annual Tito's Fiesta Mexicana in Culver City, California, raising 25,600 in a single day for the Culver Arts Foundation. Presented by Tito's Tacos and sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka, the annual event has raised more than 165,600 to date.
Each year, 100% of the event's gross proceeds are donated to the Culver City Arts Foundation. Those funds support creative arts and performing arts grants, the Culver City Arts Projecting Possibilities Program, and the Culver Arts Book Festival.
Comedian Eric Schwartz hosted five hours of live performances by Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, the all-female ensemble Mariachi Reyna de Los Ángeles, Trio Chapala, Mariachi Juvenil Herencia Michoacana, Folklórico Revolución, Artista de Lazo, and Mexico City cumbia group El Conjunto Nueva Ola, alongside handcrafted miniature piñatas by Yesenia Prieto of The Piñata Design Studio.
